The Trading Stables opened on the corner of Tivendale Road and Princes Highway, Officer, Victoria in 1997.

Since 1997, The Trading Stables has become a well known and unique business catering to the horse industry, with their large range of new and second hand horse gear. Our objective has always been to provide a more cost effective alternative for all horse owners and parents of children entering into the horse world, without compromising on quality.

We sell, trade and buy so you can trade in your old gear for new, or turn your pre-loved gear into cash. At The Trading Stables there are so many bargains to be found amongst the huge range of new and second hand products and clearance stock.

The Trading Stables specialise in saddles and saddle fitting with over 130 saddles in store, catering for all disiplines, show, dressage, pleasure, jumping, endurance, stock and western.

Management and staff offer skilled, professional advise and information gained from many years of 'hands-on' experience within the industry.

The owner, Helen Hart, a qualified saddle fitter with 14 years experience, understands the importance of the perfect fit and comfort for both horse and rider, allowing you to feel confident with your saddle purchase.

We also offer a 24 hour saddle trial on secondhand saddles which allows you to try the saddle on your horse.

The Trading Stables have a large range of summer and winter rugs along with a rug repair service.

Our large store provides an opportunity for you to browse around in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
